The company was formed by the merger of Denbridge Capital Corporation and Atlantis International Inc. in April of 2005. The registered head office of the company is located in Brampton, Ontario.

The group has two core training divisions: Contracted Flying Training and Support (CFTS) and Integrated Maintenance Training System (IMTS). Furthermore, CFTS offers training simulators for flying helicopters, learning cockpit procedures, and determining if a particular individual is a promising candidate for further training as a pilot. IMTS trains military maintenance personnel how to repair the complex systems on such military aircraft as the F-15E and the Blackhawk helicopter.

The Company was formed on January 15,1952 by the combination of Denbridge Capital Corporation and Atlantis Systems International Inc, began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol AIQ on December 7, 1994.

The Company, headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, with locations in the UK and USA, is a global supplier of simulation-based training systems and performance support products for the commercial aviation industry and the international defense and maritime systems market.
The Company’s products include Flight training devices and related products for commercial and military pilot training, Training systems for aircraft maintenance technicians, Automated pilot selection systems, Naval training systems that simulate a tactical environment for combat team training, Traffic management and surveillance systems for marine and land-based installations.

The Company was delisted from trading on Toronto Stock Exchange on September 2, 2009. The Company is no longer able to meet Toronto Stock Exchange minimum listing requirements, and also does not meet the requirements of a TSX Venture Tier 2 Company. On September 3, 2009, the shares of the Company commenced trading on NEX.
