As at March 31, 2009 the sales network totalled 5,076 licensed financial advisors and 609 non-licensed advisors.The multi-channel model offers total service for clients whenever and wherever they want, and through the channel they prefer. This creates a high client loyalty: Banca Mediolanum counted 914,000 primary account holders as at March 31, 2009 with a client retention rate of 93%. Assets under management amounted to 24.0 billion euro, or 29.5 billion euro at the consolidated level.One of the recent initiatives of the Mediolanum Group is Banca Esperia, the joint venture with Mediobanca which targets high net worth individuals in the Italian market.Mediolanum is controlled through a shareholders’ agreement (51.08% of the capital), whose shares are conferred by the Doris Group (25.54%) and by the Fininvest Group (25.54%).
