IT Outsourcing segment also provides technical support for the customers’ products in multiple languages. The IT Consulting and Systems Integration segment offers IT infrastructure design, development, technology deployment, and implementation services, as well as IT services, such as technology consulting, security, application integration and storage, and application development. IT Consulting and Systems also provides IT staff and consulting services to companies to manage their IT infrastructure. The Government Technology Services segment provides managed network services that include life cycle support for IT infrastructure, as well as enterprise solutions that comprise design, development, and implementation of technology solutions to various departments and agencies of the United States Federal Government. The Other Services segment maintains a staff of help desk technicians, software developers, and network support personnel to provide technical support services at client facilities, as well as provides custom training and documentation solutions.
TechTeam Global, together with its subsidiaries, operates in Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Outside the United Staes, TechTeam Global maintains help desk facilities in Belgium and Romania. About a third of the company’s sales come from Europe.

IT Outsourcing Services

The Company’s IT Outsourcing Services segment provides global service desk and IT infrastructure support around-the-clock for its clients, their end users and other constituencies. It maintains and supports a range of its clients’ IT and business process infrastructures from network environments to computing systems, and from shrink-wrapped applications to advanced and acquired application systems. The Company also provides technical support and in multiple languages for its customers’ products in the marketplace. The two primary elements of this business segment are Enterprise Support Services and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO Services).

The Company’s operation delivery model is primarily based upon a single point of contact (SPOC) service desk delivery model designed to enable its clients to consolidate their incident resolution support functions into a centralized service desk. Its BPO Services provide the Company’s clients with a centralized multilingual service desk. Its clients outsource the technical support aspect of their customer service business process to the Company, such as providing support for its client’s applications sold to or provided to their customers. It also provides limited non-technical customer service support for its clients, such as customer enrollments and marketing promotion support.

IT Consulting and Systems Integration

The Company offers deployment, technical support and training services to companies in the hospitality, retail and food service industries throughout the United States. It provides on-site services to implement technology and train its customers’ personnel in the use of point-of-sale and property management software. The Company also offers application development and application maintenance services from Romania.

Other Services

The Company provides, on a limited basis, technical staffing services and learning services. It provides on-site technical support services, including service desk technicians, software developers and network support technicians.

The Company competes with IBM, HP and Computer Science Corporation.
