Later in 1994, the company changed its name to Allied Domecq Plc and began publicly trading its stock. In July 2005, the Pernod Ricard SA has completely acquired Allied Domecq Plc and has sold off the overlapping spirits brands to the American competitor Fortune Brands and British giant Diageo.
Allied Domecq’s core brands are Ballantine’s and Teacher’s Scotch whiskies; Beefeater gin; Kahlъa and TiaMaria liqueurs; Sauza tequila; Maker’s Mark bourbon; Laphroaig and Canadian Club whiskies; Courvoisier cognac; Malibu white rum and Stolichnaya vodka. The company’s premium wine brands include Montana; and Mumm and Perrier Jouлt champagnes. The company’s franchised fast food restaurants include Baskin-Robbins for ice cream shops; Dunkin’ Donuts with its donuts, muffins, bagels, and cinnamon buns; and Togo’s Eateries for sandwiches.

Allied Domecq was acquired by Pernod Ricard SA (FR582041943) on 26 July 2005.
